Terms & Conditions

Last updated — 12 July 2026

Agreement

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you (or the organisation you represent) and TruenoTech (“TruenoTech”, “we”, “us”), governing your use of the TruPDF software development kit, its packages and services (together, the “SDK”), the hosted demo, and this website. By requesting a license, installing the SDK, or using this site, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the SDK.

License grant

Subject to these Terms and a valid license token, TruenoTech grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to embed the SDK in your own applications and serve it to your end users from the domain(s) named in your license token.

  • Trial — free, time-limited (currently 15 days), watermarked output, feature-restricted, and intended for evaluation only. Trial builds must not be used in production.
  • Paid / Enterprise — flat annual term as agreed at purchase, covering the licensed domain glob and its subdomains. Feature availability is encoded in the license token.

Restrictions

You must not:

  • remove, disable, or circumvent license validation, watermarking, expiry enforcement, or domain binding;
  • redistribute, resell, or expose the SDK as a stand-alone product or a general-purpose PDF API to third parties;
  • reverse-engineer the SDK except where applicable law expressly permits it;
  • use the SDK to process content that is unlawful in your jurisdiction.

Intellectual property

The SDK, its engines, documentation, and branding remain the exclusive property of TruenoTech. Your application, your documents, and the data your users create with the SDK remain yours. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.

AI features

The SDK’s AI features operate with a model provider that you configure (for example Anthropic, Google Gemini, an OpenAI-compatible gateway, or your own on-premise server). Your use of a provider is governed by that provider’s own terms and pricing. TruenoTech does not proxy, store, or train on your prompts or documents. AI output is generated content: you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it, and it is provided without warranty of accuracy.

Fees and renewal

Paid licenses are invoiced manually at a flat annual rate — there is no usage metering. We notify you before expiry; renewal is by issuing a replacement token. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or agreed in writing.

Warranty disclaimer

The SDK, the demo, and this website are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the SDK will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TruenoTech’s aggregate liability arising out of or related to the SDK is limited to the license fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, even if advised of the possibility.

Termination

We may suspend or revoke a license for material breach of these Terms, including tampering with license enforcement. You may stop using the SDK at any time. Sections on intellectual property, warranty, and liability survive termination.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes are announced on this page with a new “last updated” date; continued use of the SDK after a change constitutes acceptance.
